One of the questions I get asked most is if I can touch up brows that were done somewhere else years ago. The answer is usually yes, but sometimes it’s a process, and understanding how color heals is important.

If brows have faded to a blue, gray, or purple tone, the first step isn’t adding more brown. It’s color correction.

I tattoo a warm, corrective pigment into the ashy areas to help neutralize those cool tones. As that color heals and blends with the old pigment, it creates a more natural brown base.

About 6 weeks later, we can tattoo the desired brow color. Skipping the correction step might look good initially, but those cool tones almost always come right back.

Trust the process. Good corrections are built in layers, not shortcuts!

This is a healed lip blush result after just one session. We chose to adjust the color slightly, making it a little more n**e and a little less pink at her touch-up appointment. Honestly, I think it’s beautiful either way!
