I have decided to retire after almost 50 years from the hair industry. Last Friday was my last day. I thank the Lord above for the longevity, creativity and the friendships that developed over the years. I’ve seen clients get married and have children. I have watched those children grow into adults to become parents themselves. I will miss the conversations, stories and laughter we have had along the way. Hairstyling will always have peaks and valley but the opportunity is there for those who continue to educate oneself and try new opportunities. Never did I imagine the doors that would open for me by standing behind a chair and being a good listener to what people were saying.I will miss it dearly. Words can’t describe what this journey has meant to me. Thank you to all my clients for your continued support. Here is to the next chapter in my life. I know it will be a good one!

Introducing James Nowlin.
With over a decade of experience, James has worked with a variety of industry icons and celebrity stylists. His time as a national educator for a major salon company took him around the country to countless salons and training seminars. He also specializes in Men's Grooming and was a Scumbassador, aka an educator, for a number of years with the Dutch brand Reuzel. While passionate for educating others, he keeps up on the latest techniques by attending education himself. Most recently, he has continued his Color Mastery training with Goldwell in NYC. Having trained with Paul Mitchell, Wella, American Crew, Matrix and a number of other companies, he always finds something new to learn. Whether you're looking for a bright blonde highlight or a clean business cut, James will entertain you while providing you with the perfect, customized style.
