I always knew I wanted to be a mother. Iโve always been full of energy- young at heart , a forever climber and play in the mud type of girl - with a deep refusal to grow up and be boring.
So Honestly, motherhood sounded like the perfect excuse to be a kid forever. I never wanted to grow up; I wanted to live in Neverland like Peter Pan, forever dodging adulthood with glitter , games and snacks of course.
That said, becoming a mom has been the hardest, most soul-stretching journey Iโve ever takenโ( and I moved to New York City with two suitcases, $2,000, and absolutely nowhere to live. )
But MY GOD. Being her mom? Watching her grow, Nothing compares, it is literally my favorite thing in the entire world.
Happy Motherโs Day to all the moms out there doing their fu***ng best. Youโre seen, youโre loved, and youโre absolutely crushing itโeven on the days you feel like you arenโt.
And thanks to my partner who stands by my side while I continue to โadultโ in child form. (and thanks for always having a camera on hand, most of these photos taken by )
