Maria is back from maternity leave and she came back swinging.
A mix of balayage and foils placed strategically for movement and dimension. Cool toner. A money piece that means business. Three hours of intentional color work that looks like she was just born with really good hair.

Inspired by a reel from and honestly this was SUCH a fun way to help our apprentices visualize haircutting theory. ✂️🌈
Seeing elevation, overdirection, and distribution physically mapped out makes the “why” behind the haircut click so much faster.

Our apprentice Laurie started with a one length cut and then added some layers and a little personal touch! We love seeing that little special look on Laurie’s face when it hits her… “I did THIS!”…. Did you catch it? It’s what we love about training at 5o1… the quiet subtle moments of building confidence in yourself! ✂️🙌🏼
