I had every intention of getting ready for work this morning. I even put my coffee cup down so I could get moving.

That was apparently my first mistake. ☕😂

Within moments, I found myself completely surrounded by management. Luna claimed the ottoman, Stryker claimed my lap, and together they enacted a strict “Mom Shall Not Leave” policy.

Stryker has decided he is no longer a Chihuahua. He is now a weighted blanket with opinions. 🐶💤 Every time I tried to move, he somehow became heavier and more comfortable.

Meanwhile, Luna sat nearby making sure quality control standards were maintained and that I remained exactly where I was supposed to be.

Needless to say, getting ready for work took a little longer than expected. ❤️

Some mornings, though, I don’t mind being held hostage by these two adorable supervisors.

Now if someone could kindly explain to Stryker that lap blanket is not an official job title, I’d appreciate it. 😂🐾

🐝🌸 Birthday Toes & Small Business Magic! 🌸🐝

One of the things I love most about being at Zendora is being surrounded by other talented women-owned businesses. Today I walked just two doors down from my massage suite and let May work her magic! 💜

I asked for flowers on my birthday pedicure, and she created the sweetest little wildflower garden… then added a tiny bee! 🐝🥹 I mean, how adorable is that?!

The detail is incredible. Every flower was hand-painted, and now every time I look down, I can’t help but smile. It’s like carrying a little piece of summer with me everywhere I go. 🌼🌿

As massage therapists, we’re always taking care of everyone else. Today it was my turn to sit back, relax, and be pampered. May always does beautiful work, and her kindness and attention to detail make every appointment special.

June is almost here, school will be out, and summer schedules are about to get busy… and apparently so am I. 😂 I’m already booked a week out in places, so planning ahead might not be a bad idea.

Before the summer chaos begins, don’t forget to make time for yourself. A massage is more than relaxation — it’s uninterrupted quiet, a chance to recharge, and a way to step into the month ahead feeling rested and renewed.

Honestly, even the pups and I have started planning ahead for summer adventures and kayaking days. 🐶🛶 Apparently everyone understands the importance of self-care around here.

I had the absolute joy of starting my week at First Presbyterian Church on Prince Street, offering chair massage for some truly incredible teachers 💆‍♀️🍎

A beautiful soul of a parent, Julie, brought me in to help love on these hardworking educators—and let me tell you… the room was FULL of smiles, gratitude, and just the right amount of “ahhhhhh” moments 😌

Between all the delicious treats being delivered (seriously, so many goodies! 😂), I was honored to add a little relaxation into their day without adding anything extra to their waistlines 😉

These teachers pour so much into others—it felt amazing to give a little back 💛

So grateful my client made it safely through that downpour after her 2-hour drive—what a commitment to her self-care.

And when a headache started creeping in, she even brought me a little caffeine boost… such a thoughtful, beautiful soul.
