“Hi, I’m Lisa—San Diego, California born, La Jolla seasoned. I spent many years behind the chair there, soaking up that salty breeze while honing every cut and color under the sun. Apprenticeship days taught me patience—I had a fabulous mentor, completely talented, who showed me the real art of it. I strive to keep learning and growing everyday.

Loved the coast, but life called for a change—so I packed up and landed in North Carolina. Still the same hands, same eye for what flatters you: highlighting, specialty foils, precision hair cutting, exquisite bob’s ,men’s cuts, long layers that move, and curly hair love. I thrive on making beautiful hair happen.”

So I went in expecting a hair appointment and accidentally booked myself a luxury experience. 💕Whoever decided that a salon should make you feel this pampered deserves a standing ovation.👏
The salon is absolutely gorgeous, and the thoughtful extras had me wondering if I’d wandered into a five-star spa instead.
Every little detail made me feel special, spoiled, and just a tiny bit reluctant to go back to the real world.

My hairstylist, Julie, was nothing short of amazing.
She patiently listened to me blabber out what I felt like I needed and I wanted, and didn’t hesitate to tell me no where I needed to hear it lol- then she sprinkled in some complimentary magical add ons at the shampoo station.

… a soothing hand paraffin and warm mitts while she absolutely knocked me out with a top tier head and suboccipital massage. Those that know me and my 17 + years of neuromuscular and body work, know I don’t give away those compliments easily.
My inability to walk straight right afterwards was proof enough. Not to mention my paraffin mitt pampering was followed by a nurturing little hand massage…NONE of which I was expecting to receive.

Then she proceeded to give me the only thing I was expecting- a great hair trim! Lol
I left with a refreshed head of hair, a nurtured soul, and the dangerous realization that I’m going to have to do that more often.🤪🤣

If you’re looking for a place that doesn’t just do your hair but reminds you that you’re kind of a big deal, this is it. Fair warning: once you’ve experienced this level of pampering, regular salon visits may never feel quite the same again.
