Bold, unapologetic and wonderfully unconventional, his performance helped create a world where being different wasn’t something to hide, but something to celebrate.

For generations of LGBTQ+ fans, Rocky Horror has been a place to find community, self-expression and the freedom to simply be yourself.

Tim Curry gave us a character and a performance that will forever hold a special place in q***r history and in the hearts of fans around the world.

His legacy will live on every time we do the Time Warp again. 💋🌈

The world will remember Dolly Parton for her unmistakable voice, larger-than-life style, incredible generosity and a career that touched generations.

But for the LGBTQ+ community, Dolly was something more.
She was a longtime ally who chose love, acceptance and inclusion. She embraced her LGBTQ+ fans, stood in support of equality and reminded people that everyone deserves the freedom to be exactly who they are.

Today, we remember a true icon and a friend to our community whose legacy of love will continue long after the music stops.

The Coastal Bend Community Advocacy Network is launching its new Advocacy Council Working Group, bringing together community leaders, nonprofit partners, healthcare professionals, business professionals, and engaged clients who are ready to move ideas forward.

This collaborative working group is focused on identifying community needs, sharing perspectives, and developing action-oriented solutions that strengthen advocacy efforts in the Coastal Bend.

Together, this council meeting will focus on:

-Identifying gaps and solutions to expand access to health and wellness services to our area
-Discussing action plans regarding the economic impact and community value of non-profit organizations
-Identifying gaps and solutions to expand access to health and wellness services in our area, including medical providers, specialists, and a skilled workforce pipeline
