As many of you know, I’m stepping into a new role managing my family’s storage business — such an honor and a big responsibility! 💛

Because of this, I’ll only be taking ONE hair client per week for now. Spots will be very limited, so I encourage you to book ahead if you’d like to get in.

As many of you know, my dad recently passed away. It’s hard to put into words the kind of man he was: selfless, generous, and full of heart. Over the past months, I’ve heard so many stories from people in our community about how he quietly helped others, gave without expecting anything in return, and always showed up when it mattered. That’s just who he was.

Since the early 2000s, my dad built Tanglewood Self Storage from the ground up into a successful, trusted business here in Dalhart. He poured his time, energy, and heart into it, not for recognition, but because he truly cared about people. It wasn’t just about storage units to him. It was about taking care of people and making life a little easier for others.

I grew up working alongside him, learning the ins and outs of the business from a young age. Over the years, he taught me everything he knew, not just about how to run the business, but how to run it with integrity, kindness, and a spirit of service.

It is truly an honor to step into the role of manager and carry on the work he started. I know I have big shoes to fill, but I am committed to maintaining the same values and spirit that made Tanglewood what it is today. This business is part of my heart, just like it was a part of his.

My sister Kelsey and I have both been deeply shaped by our dad’s example. We each carry his memory in our own ways, and I’m grateful for the bond we share through him and the love we both have for what he built.

Thank you to everyone who has supported us through the years. I’m excited to continue serving the Dalhart community and to keep my dad’s legacy alive through the work we do every day.

In my LOVER era!

Florence Jae Isbell has made her arrival born on December 21st.

This post is a hard one because I lost one of the most special people in my life and at the same time God gifted me one of the most special people in my life, all in one week. It is a feeling I truly can’t put into words. But I do know my dad and all of you do too. He was the kindest human being and one of the most selfless people I have ever met. I got to witness this my whole life. The little kind gestures to every human being he encountered not just people he knew but strangers all over. He made people laugh and always left them in a better mood. How do you summarize someone so special into word’s, you can’t. But I do know what he would want from all of us to hug each other tighter, love each other harder, and help each other in whatever way we can. He would want this to make this community stronger than ever and to come together.

I promise to honor my parents and always take the lessons learned through them in my life and my children’s life. God has a plan and I will always believe that. I know I will be reunited someday with them and that will always bring me peace ❤️
