And let me tell ya, it’s not easy to find “eco-friendly” products without those nasty synthetics due to “greenwashing”.

For example, fragrances are often marketed as natural or environmentally friendly, even when they contain chemical ingredients. This practice, known as greenwashing, misleads consumers who might choose these products under the false impression that they are safer or more eco-friendly.

Check your bottles. Does it say “fragrance”? Yeah, I thought so.

So, if it’s difficult to find, why is it so important?

Because synthetic fragrances contain a cocktail of chemicals, some of which have been linked to various health issues. These chemicals can trigger allergic reactions, asthma attacks, migraines, and skin irritations in sensitive individuals. Moreover, certain studies have suggested that some fragrance ingredients may disrupt hormones or cause reproductive problems.
