I’ve been waiting to share this. 💚

I was selected as one of 17 entrepreneurs from across North Carolina to participate in the inaugural SBCN Startup Showdown, representing Wilkes Community College and the vision I’ve been building for Victorious Wellness.

More than 300 entrepreneurs applied, and I’m incredibly proud to have made it this far.

But what you don’t see behind this opportunity is what it took to get here.

This summer, I lost my brother and my mother-in-law. Grief alone would have made this one of the most challenging seasons of my life—without everything else life continued to demand.

And somehow, I kept going.

I poured my heart and soul into this competition. I worked harder than I ever have—writing, rewriting, practicing, learning, preparing and doing everything I could to show up and give this opportunity my absolute best.

I couldn’t have done it without my husband beside me through all of it, or without the incredible guidance, encouragement and belief of my mentor, Laurie Brintle-Jarvis. I am deeply grateful for both of them.

And now I’m going to need YOU. 💚
