One of the questions I get most about Lynk-Gel® is: “Is the device the same as a gel nail lamp?”

Not exactly.

While both use light-curing technology, the way that light is delivered is very different.

A nail lamp is designed to expose a much larger area at once, often for repeated curing cycles. Lynk-Gel® uses a pinpoint beam directed at one lash attachment for only a few seconds at a time.

And this is why wattage alone doesn’t tell the whole story.

What also mattered to me was the testing behind the device. Lynk-Gel® has undergone independent photobiological safety testing to ANSI RP-27, ACGIH, IEC, ICNIRP and IES standards, and later passed IEC 62471 testing.
