“Everyone keeps asking what I ate after my facelift, CO2 laser, and lip lift. And believe me, what you eat during recovery matters!”
“After facial plastic surgery, your body needs good nutrition to heal.
Staying hydrated is also important, especially when you’re recovering.
And because I had a lip lift, I had to be especially careful about how I ate. Soft foods that didn’t require a lot of chewing were much easier.
I also tried to avoid overly salty foods and alcohol because I didn’t want to make my swelling worse.
My biggest takeaway? Don’t focus on dieting during recovery. Focus on nourishing your body and giving it what it needs to heal.
And of course, always follow your surgeon’s instructions.” l

Between surgery, swelling, not being able to wash or style it normally, and just trying to leave it alone while I healed… my hair took a BEATING. 😩
Now that I’m almost 5 weeks out, it’s time to give my hair a little recovery of its own. 😂

Almost 5 weeks post-facelift… let’s talk SCARS. 👀
I wanted to show you what my incisions actually look like up close — no hiding them and no filters.
They’re definitely still healing, but I’m amazed at how much they’ve changed already. I’ll keep sharing the progress so you can see what facelift scars really look like as they heal.
Everyone heals differently, and I’m following my surgeon’s instructions throughout my recovery. 🤍
I thought I had escaped the black-and-blue eyes… and then THIS showed up later. 😳
One thing I’m learning during facelift recovery is that healing definitely isn’t linear. Just when I think I’m past one stage, something new pops up!
Did anyone else have bruising show up later in their recovery?

Now that the swelling is coming down, it’s time to see what we actually fixed! 😂
Going over my facelift results and all the little changes we made — some of them I didn’t fully appreciate until now.
It’s so interesting seeing everything from this side of surgery instead of just talking about what I wanted beforehand.
