We inherited an industry that often taught artists their work was worth less than it actually is. We’ve all seen the Facebook group and Reddit posts complaining about nail prices, asking if they paid too much for a $65 set..

The conversation isn’t about making nails “luxury.”

It’s about recognizing the years of practice, technical skill, creativity, licensing, knowledge, continuing education, product investment, and physical labor behind every appointment.

Parts of this industry’s history include exploitation and underpaid labor. Those realities affected pricing expectations that many artists are still trying to overcome today.

I believe artists deserve sustainable careers.I believe clients deserve transparency about what they’re paying for. And I believe we can build an industry where success isn’t something we hoard. It’s something we create together.
