The magic of the Taiwan Swirl starts long before the pour. The secret? Perfect batter consistency. Too thin and the colors blend into mud. Too thick and the swirl won’t flow. When the batter reaches that smooth, fluid “just right” trace, every pour becomes a beautiful dance of color. Have you tried the Taiwan Swirl technique?

A single drop at a time.. one of my favorite soap design techniques is creating these delicate flower tops using drops of different colored soap batter…so satisfying..Every bar is handcrafted with patience, creativity, and a little bit of floral magic.

My daughter asked me if I could make a realistic retina soap for her graduates. After trying different ideas, I found that printing a retina image on water-soluble paper and embedding it into clear soap was the best way to capture all the intricate details.
