Glow Bottle Lanterns

Materials

Empty plastic water bottles
Battery-operated fairy lights
Neon paint markers
Star stickers
Scissors
String or twine for hanging

Instructions

Step 1
Wash and dry the plastic bottles. Remove all labels.

Step 2
Decorate each bottle with colorful stars, dots, swirls, and other designs using neon paint markers.

Step 3
Add star stickers around the bottle for extra decoration.

Step 4
Carefully place a strand of battery-operated fairy lights inside each bottle.

Step 5
Close the bottle cap and make sure the light switch remains accessible.

Step 6
Tie string around the bottle neck or through the cap area for hanging.

Step 7
Turn on the lights and hang the lanterns outdoors or indoors for a glowing display.

Tips

Use different marker colors to create unique patterns.
LED fairy lights work best because they stay cool.
Add glow-in-the-dark stickers for extra nighttime sparkle.
