Free Curriculum: Freedom House Ambulance Service The Freedom House Ambulance Service was a groundbreaking emergency medical program founded in Pittsburgh’s Hill District in the late 1960s.

The IMPART Alliance at Michigan State University is recruiting young adults ages 16–26 for a FREE Virtual Direct Care Worker (DCW) Training Program.

Participants will gain valuable skills to support older adults and individuals living with dementia while exploring a rewarding career in healthcare.

Certificate of completion
$50 gift card upon successful completion
Opportunity to continue with additional DCW training courses

Training Dates: • September 15–17 | 6:00–8:00 p.m. • September 22–24 | 6:00–8:00 p.m. • Plus an additional 2-hour dementia training session

This opportunity is funded through the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services Dementia and Healthy Brains Unit.

If you are a high school student, college student, young adult, or job seeker interested in making a difference through a healthcare career, this program is for you.
