It’s honestly hard to put into words what this first year has meant to me.

A year ago, I opened the doors to Wickedly Good Wax with a vision, a whole lot of hope, and probably a little bit of fear too. 😂 I knew what I wanted this place to become, but watching it actually grow has been something completely different.

There have been long days, stressful moments, lessons learned the hard way, changes, growing pains, and plenty of moments where I wondered if I was doing everything right. But there have also been SO many moments that reminded me exactly why I started. 💚

Every client who booked an appointment, came back, referred a friend, left a review, shared a post, bought a product, or simply told someone about us helped build this little business.

And somewhere along the way, it became more than just my business. We’ve grown our team, welcomed so many incredible clients, laughed until our stomachs hurt, celebrated life updates in the wax room, and created a place that I’m genuinely proud to call Wickedly Good Wax.

Let’s talk about one of our waxing favorites… HARD WAX! 💚👀

✨ No strips needed! Hard wax is applied directly to the skin, allowed to set, and then removed on its own.

✨ It wraps around the hair as it hardens, helping remove the hair from the root.

✨ It’s a favorite for sensitive areas and is commonly used for services like Brazilians, bikini waxes, underarms, and facial waxing.

✨ It’s designed to grip the hair more than the skin, which can make it a great option for delicate areas.

✨ Shorter hairs can still be stubborn! Having enough growth before your appointment helps the wax get a better grip and gives you better results.

✨ Technique matters. The temperature, application, direction, thickness, and removal all make a difference—which is why your waxer makes it look easier than it is. 😉
