Some days I feel so proud of what I’ve built. Other days I wonder if I’m even cut out for this.

And it feels vulnerable to admit that when you’ve worked so hard for something you wanted.

I love the freedom of owning a business. I love getting to create something that’s mine, connect with people, and have a say in what my days look like. But sometimes I wish I could take a day off without calculating what it costs or mentally making a list of everything waiting for me.

It can be lonely, too. Even when you’re surrounded by people all day. You can talk through a decision with someone and still know that you’re the one who has to make it and live with how it turns out.

Then there’s the voice that gets loud after a hard day. The one that says maybe you should quit, maybe you’re doing too much, maybe everyone else knows something you don’t. I’m learning to give myself a little time before I believe everything that voice says. Sometimes I need rest, support, or something in my business to change.

I can be grateful for this life and admit that parts of it are hard. I don’t want another business owner scrolling through my page thinking I have it all figured out while she’s questioning herself.

There’s a lot I’m proud of. There’s still a lot I’m learning. Both belong here. 🤍
