We are so proud of all our performers (pictured and not pictured, maybe one year we will get everyone for a group photo at the collective showcase). This years show was amazing and it’s because of all the hard work these students put in.

Also a big shout out to our instructors who choreographed and guided all of these students to greatness. More photos to come!

For our final student spotlight with Aerial Ambitions, we have Leah. This will be Leah’s first solo with us, but not her first show. We are really excited for the piece she has created.

Her character is Scarlet Witch from the Marvel Universe. She’s will be embodying Wanda’s grief and anger throughout this piece to be the anti-hero we all know and love. Leah has added her own personal touches to the piece and it truly is the cherry on top that brings the whole thing together. We can’t wait for her to perform and show everyone what she’s worked so hard to put together.

Next performer introductions for Aerial Ambitions for the Heroes and Villains showcase with is…… and portraying Alice and the Queen of Hearts from Alice in Wonderland.

These two are really getting into their characters. Lauren is portraying the sweet Alice making her way through Wonderland, while Madelyn will have you shaking in your boots as she screams “Off with her head!” When we say their piece is jaw dropping, we mean it. You might even loose your head 😜

Reminder that we have a Mother’s Day Duo Lyra workshop this Sunday at 12pm. We have 4 spots (aka 2 pairs) available. It’s a great way for you and your daughter to support each other and show the love you have for one another on a special day. Don’t forget to sign up yourself and your daughter.

Next student spotlight for the Aerial Ambitions studio with the is .fahel

Esther has been one of our students off and on for the past couple years. She started coming to classes when she was in town doing an internship with GE. After she finished school, she got accepted into the Edison program with GE and has been able to take classes for the last year consistently. Before she leaves for her next rotation with GE up north, she’s performing as Jasmine from the live action Aladdin movie. Her piece is just stunning!!!! It’s her first solo performance with us on the silks and we couldn’t be happier with the work she’s put in for this piece. She’s opening the second half of the show, so you better be there to see it!

Our next act from Aerial Ambitions is a Lyra duo piece with Lila and Athena! These two are going to be performing as Glinda and Elphaba from Wicked. We are excited to have a Lyra duo piece at the GVL Aerial Collective showcase. This will be Athena’s first aerial performance and Lila, as a seasoned performing, is helping guide Athena. It’s been very cute to watch these two working together and really bringing to friendship vibes that Glinda and Elphaba bring forward.

We know they would love to have all their friends and family to come watch their performance.
