What’s going on in your body with PCOS? And how can this 1 tool help so much?

For starters, there are 3 common root causes that feed each other in a loop:

- Inflammation — Your immune system is stuck in “alarm mode,” like a smoke detector going off when there’s no fire. This constant false alarm disrupts your hormones.

- Insulin resistance — Your cells stop responding to insulin, so your body pumps out more and more. That extra insulin tells your ovaries to make too much testosterone — causing acne, excess hair, and irregular periods.

- Gut imbalance — The bacteria in your gut get out of balance, which pokes holes in the gut lining and lets inflammatory chemicals leak into your bloodstream — pouring gasoline on the fire.

These three problems spin in a vicious cycle: inflammation → insulin resistance → hormone imbalance → more inflammation.

How does a 30-day elimination diet help?

- 🔥 Puts out the fire — Removing inflammatory foods (sugar, processed carbs, processed foods) lets your body’s alarm system finally quiet down.

- 🔋 Resets your insulin — Giving your body a break from blood sugar spikes helps your cells start listening to insulin again — even without weight loss.

- 🩹 Heals your gut — Removing irritating foods lets your gut lining repair, which stops inflammatory chemicals from leaking into your bloodstream.

- 🔍 Finds YOUR triggers — When you add foods back one at a time, you discover exactly which foods cause YOUR bloating, fatigue, or flare-ups. Everyone is different!

- 💪 Builds lasting habits — 30 days is long enough to learn new great eating habits and meal planning routines

The bottom line here friends is that this isn’t about perfection or giving up foods forever. It’s about breaking the cycle, letting your body reset, and then building a way of eating that works for YOU.

Deadass.

Let’s get more licensed and credentialed voices out here.

I know Instagram is built for content under three minutes — but I can’t summarize a decade of education, clinical training, research, and real patient care into a 3-minute reel.

Not everything meaningful can be turned into a hook, five slides, or a supplement recommendation. Healthcare isn’t always that simple. Women’s health definitely isn’t.

And to be clear, I have a lot of respect for the providers in this space who are showing up, clarifying information, adding context, and helping people think critically instead of pretending there’s one right answer for everyone. We need more of that.

Because not everything is straightforward. Not every body is the same. Goals are different. Resources are different. Life circumstances are different. Context matters.

Less loud wellness marketing selling unproven protocols, expensive testing, and endless supplements.

More real-life, nuanced healthcare.
More context.
More evidence.
More clinicians willing to say, “it depends.”

I’m not unwilling to simplify. I just refuse to oversimplify.

Because helping people understand their bodies will always matter more than a simplified clear cut post that’s easy to save and try to make a rule in your life.

🫶🏽🫶🏽🫶🏽🫶🏽 I see your providers, we might not be the loudest voices here, but we certainly should keep showing up.

What gives me the ick: anecdotal advice from PCOS influencers with zero credentials.

So I started showing up here to set the record straight just filming on walks with my baby, posting between client calls, just being unpolished and unapologetic about it.

Low production value. High clinical value. That’s the trade I’ll make every time.

You don’t need perfect content to change someone’s life. You need accurate information and the willingness to actually say it.

I started posting because I was exhausted watching women spend years trying supplements, chasing random non-FDA-approved tests, and still not understanding why their body felt the way it did. Hopeless. Dismissed. Told their labs were “normal” while their hair was falling out and they hadn’t had a real period in months.

I’ve been there. And I’ve now helped hundreds of women get out of there.

I’d rather you hear this from a nurse practitioner who’s lived it and spent years in the clinical trenches than from someone with great editing skills and zero credentials giving advice based on their own personal experience.

Here’s what I know to be true:

PCOS is not one-size-fits-all. Your root cause is specific to you — and so is your path to remission.

Your symptoms are not random. They mean something.

Lifestyle changes work when they’re targeted, sustainable, and actually fit your life.

Inside our clinician-led, root-cause-focused program, we identify exactly what’s driving your PCOS and help you transform your health through lifestyle in 90 days. We track progress every single week, because if nothing is changing, something needs to change.
