Lip Neutralization is a process — not a one-color-fits-all service. 🤎💗
Sometimes the first appointment isn’t about adding the final color you want. Sometimes the first step is neutralizing the existing pigmentation so we can create a better canvas for your desired lip color.
And this is where patience matters. 👄✨
How your lips heal after the first session will help determine what we do at your touch-up. Depending on how your lips respond, we may:
• Continue neutralizing
• Begin introducing your desired color
• Or make adjustments based on how your pigment has healed
Every set of lips is different. Skin tone, natural lip pigmentation, previous pigmentation, and how your skin heals can all affect the process.
As an artist, knowing when to stop is just as important as knowing how to add pigment.
Sometimes the best thing we can do is not add more pigment. Continuing to layer color over color without allowing the lips to heal and assessing the result can work against the overall goal.
Lip blush is about creating a healthy, balanced foundation and building toward the result — not rushing the process.
