She All Dolled Up

WHEWWWW... 😮‍💨🤦🏽‍♀️

This week definitely tested me.

Due to my sister's (My Assistant Rochell) recent car accident, I had to run the salon alone. My schedule was booked for a two-person team, but I handled every single client by myself. Thanks for your prayers for our RoRo 🙏🏾

Then life said, "Let's add a little more..."

Day 1, the hot water tank started malfunctioning. I had to keep restarting it between shampoos. I even had to wash towels 😔

Day 2... the hot water tank completely gave out. First, no hot water. Then, no water at all. 😩 My clients had to wait while everything was being fixed, and three of my SweetGirls were absolute TROOPERS. We made it work with cold water and water heated in the microwave. 🤦🏽‍♀️ (Eastside to my core)

Now THAT is teamwork.

To every one of my SweetGirls who showed me patience, grace, kindness, and understanding this week... thank you from the bottom of my heart. You'll never know how much I appreciated you.
Y'all really helped me stay upbeat.

One thing about me... unless my body is physically unable, I'm showing up. I don't believe in canceling on my clients at the last minute if I can help it. I made that commitment, and I do everything in my power to keep it.

Am I exhausted? Absolutely.
Am I sleep deprived? Without a doubt.
Is my body tired? Oh yes.

But by the grace of God, I showed up every day, on time, and every client walked out feeling All D💋lled Up. 💁🏽‍♀️✨

This week reminded me that resilience isn't about things going smoothly. It's about refusing to quit when they don't.

God carried me through every challenge, and for that, I'm forever grateful. ❤️🙏🏽

Now if y'all don't mind... this Doll needs some REST. 😴🫶🏽
