Plaine Products is a woman-owned small business with a mission to reduce single-use plastic.👏 🤩 All of their products come in aluminum bottles. Simply switch your pump (now made from recovered ocean plastic!) from bottle to bottle. Bring your empty back to the shop, and we take care of shipping it back. The Plaine Products team cleans and sanitizes the aluminum bottles so they can be endlessly reused!🧴🔁

tomorrow the county board is meeting to discuss the proposed sale of 120 acres of county forest to be sold and turned into a landfill. please take 1 min to sign the petition and help save our forest🌳🌲

The Seven Mile Landfill, located at Olson Drive, Eau Claire, is owned by Green for Life (GFL) and serves Eau Claire County. Recently, GFL has approached the county to open discussions about purchasing an additional 120 acres of Eau Claire County Forest.

The landfill serves EC County but also takes waste from neighboring states and other counties in Wisconsin. Even if Eau Claire reduced their waste, the landfill would expand by taking more trash from other areas.

Environmental Task Force Volunteers and members of the community are speaking at the EC County Parks and Forest Committee meeting. Please join us in helping protect our county forest by signing the petition against the landfill expansion.
