🚨 PCOS has a new name — and it’s about time.
For years, the name Polycystic O***y Syndrome has caused confusion, delayed diagnoses, and left many women feeling dismissed.
Many women were told:
❌ “You don’t have cysts, so you don’t have PCOS.”
❌ “Your labs are normal.”
❌ “Just lose weight.”
But PCOS was never just about cysts on the ovaries.
In May 2026, a global panel of experts published in The Lancet recommended changing the name to Polyendocrine Metabolic Ovarian Syndrome (PMOS) to better reflect what this condition truly is: a complex hormonal and metabolic disorder that affects the entire body.
PMOS can impact:
✨ Insulin and blood sugar regulation
✨ Metabolism and weight
✨ Testosterone and androgen levels
✨ Skin and hair health
✨ Ovulation and fertility
✨ Cardiovascular health
✨ Inflammation
✨ Nervous system and mental health
This name change is more than semantics. It acknowledges what women and many healthcare providers have known for years—that this condition extends far beyond the ovaries and requires a whole-body approach to care.
My hope is that this shift leads to:
✔️ Earlier diagnosis
✔️ Better education
✔️ More comprehensive treatment options
✔️ Improved outcomes for women
If you’ve ever been told you couldn’t have PCOS because you didn’t have ovarian cysts, you’re not alone. This change is a step toward recognizing the full picture of what women with PMOS experience every day.
💬 Were you surprised to learn that PCOS was never really about cysts? Share your thoughts below!
🏆✨ What an incredible honor! ✨🏆
I am so excited to share that Radiant Life Chiropractic was voted Best Chiropractor in the 2026 OKC Moms’ Choice Awards, and I was personally named one of the Top 5 Holistic Practitioners!
I am truly humbled by these recognitions.
To everyone who voted, supported us, referred friends and family, shared our content, trusted our recommendations, and allowed us to be part of your health journey, thank you. Your support means more than I can adequately put into words.
These awards are especially meaningful because they come from the community we serve every day.
Being named a Top 5 Holistic Practitioner is particularly special because it reflects the heart behind what I do. I have always believed that true health is about looking at the whole person, asking deeper questions, and helping people uncover and address the root causes of their health concerns rather than simply chasing symptoms.
And as proud as I am of that recognition, seeing Radiant Life Chiropractic voted Best Chiropractor is something our entire team is celebrating. This award belongs to every member of our team who pours their heart into serving our community and every patient who has become part of our RLC family.
The greatest reward will always be seeing lives changed, families healthier, and people finding hope when they thought they were out of options.
Thank you for allowing us to do what we love. We are grateful beyond measure and excited to continue serving this amazing community for years to come. ❤️
Ready to dive into egg quality work? ✨🤍
Follow along as I break down everything I did to support my egg quality after being told conceiving was impossible for me.
Here’s something every woman deserves to know about fertility and preconception health:
The egg your body is preparing to ovulate today actually began developing about 90 days ago.
That means the nourishing meals, blood sugar support, stress management, nervous system regulation, sleep, movement, minerals, and lifestyle shifts you’re making today are helping support the eggs your body will release 3 months from now. 🌿
This is why consistency matters.
Healing takes time.
Hormone balance takes time.
Egg quality work takes time.
If you’ve been feeling discouraged on your fertility journey, don’t give up too soon. Your body is always responding to the environment you give it. Small daily choices truly add up.
Over the next few weeks, I’ll be sharing the exact steps I focused on to support:
✨ Egg quality
✨ Hormone balance
✨ Nervous system regulation
✨ Fertility health
✨ Preconception wellness
You are not behind. Keep doing the work.
Infertility doesn’t just affect women. It affects marriages, friendships, faith, mental health, and the quiet moments no one else sees. 🤍
As women, infertility can leave us feeling broken, exhausted, and disconnected from our bodies. Month after month of negative tests, hormone changes, doctor appointments, and unanswered questions can feel overwhelming. But husbands carry this pain too — often silently.
My husband, Ben, and I walked through 7 long years of infertility. There were seasons filled with heartbreak, stress, anxiety, and emotional distance. We became so focused on trying to conceive that we forgot to nurture the relationship holding us together.
One conversation changed everything.
We made the decision to put our marriage first again. We started dating each other again. Laughing again. Enjoying simple moments together again. Slowly, the walls we had built from grief and disappointment started to come down.
Infertility can test your relationship, but it can also strengthen it when you choose to lean toward each other instead of away from each other.
If you’re walking through infertility, preconception struggles, hormone imbalance, or women’s health challenges right now, please remember this:
✨ Your relationship matters.
✨ Your mental health matters.
✨ Your healing matters.
✨ You are more than your fertility journey.
Give each other grace. Communicate openly. Protect your connection. And don’t forget to keep loving each other through the process. 🤍
They told me I would never get pregnant… even with IVF.
After a 7-year infertility journey and 3 fertility clinics, I was dismissed with the same heartbreaking conclusion: pregnancy wasn’t possible for me.
Six months later, I conceived naturally with my son.
Walking through infertility changed everything about how I view women’s health, hormone balance, and preconception care. I stopped outsourcing my health and started supporting my body intentionally—focusing on egg quality, nervous system healing, and whole-body fertility support.
Here’s a simplified version of the preconception work I did (all tailored to my labs and health):
✨ Preconception & Fertility Health Foundations
1️⃣ Get comprehensive lab testing
You can’t improve what you don’t measure. Hormones, thyroid, nutrients, inflammation, gut health.
2️⃣ Get structurally cleared
Evaluate uterus, fallopian tubes, ovaries, and pelvic health.
3️⃣ Regulate your nervous system
Chronic stress keeps your body in fight-or-flight instead of rest-and-reproduce.
4️⃣ Reduce processed foods: I threw away most processed foods and swapped out the ones I kept for healthier options.
5️⃣ Prioritize a whole foods fertility diet
Nourish egg quality with real, nutrient-dense foods.
6️⃣ Strength train 3–4x per week
Blood sugar balance + metabolic health = fertility support.
7️⃣ Remove toxins & hormone disruptors
Home + body care swaps matter more than you think.
8️⃣ Hydration + adequate protein intake
Fuel your body for hormone production and egg health. Find out how much you need of each based on your health and body weight.
9️⃣ Chiropractic care + acupuncture
Support nervous system and blood flow to reproductive organs.
🔟 Reconnect with your partner
Joy, connection, and safety are powerful fertility support.
This is the kind of women’s health and fertility coaching I now teach inside my program—and what I’m writing about in my upcoming ebook to help women walking this same path.
If you’re in the infertility or trying-to-conceive season, please don’t lose hope 🤍 Your story may not be over yet.
Happy Mother’s Day 🤍
This day holds so many emotions for me as a women’s health coach who supports fertility journeys, infertility healing, and postpartum moms.
Today, I get to hold my miracle. My son is my greatest joy, and my heart overflows with gratitude for him every single day.
But this wasn’t always my story.
For 7 long, painful years I lived in the tension of waiting—praying for a baby I couldn’t yet hold. Mother’s Day was one of the hardest days of the year. I would watch other moms celebrate with ease while silently carrying grief, longing, and unanswered prayers.
If you are in that season right now—trying to conceive, navigating infertility, or longing to become a mom—I want you to know I see you.
Your grief is real. Your hope is valid. And your story is still unfolding.
And for the moms holding their miracle today—don’t forget what a gift this truly is. Soak it in. Be present. You are living the prayer you once cried for. We celebrate you every day, not just today 🤍
To the woman still waiting… please don’t give up on your miracle.
I truly believe in the power of one healthy egg, one healthy chance, one aligned moment. My son is living proof of what can happen when you keep going.
Hold on to hope for your one.
Follow along with me as I tell my story of walking through 7 years of infertility, being told it wasn’t possible to get pregnant, ignoring ALL of that, and getting pregnant with my son naturally.

Trying to conceive or struggling with hormone imbalance?
One thing many women overlook is how everyday home fragrances may be affecting fertility and hormone health. 🕯️
During my 7 year long infertility and hormone healing journey, I started learning more about endocrine disruptors hidden in candles, plug-ins, wax melts, laundry products, and synthetic fragrance.
Many conventional home fragrance products contain chemicals and phthalates that have been linked to:
✨ Hormone imbalance
✨ Fertility struggles
✨ Increased inflammation
✨ Headaches + migraines
✨ Nervous system stress
This isn’t about perfection or fear.
It’s about reducing your overall toxic load and creating a healthier environment for your body to heal.
One of the easiest places to start with low-tox living?
The air inside your home. 🤍
My favorite non-toxic swaps:
✨ Essential oils + a diffuser (favorite brand Plant Therapy)
✨ Beeswax candles
✨ Non-toxic candles from Fontana Candle Company and GoodLight
✨Opening windows daily
✨ Simmer pots with lavender, citrus, rosemary, cinnamon, or vanilla
Your fertility journey and hormone health are influenced by more than food alone. The products you breathe every day matter too. 🌿

Iron deficiency is incredibly common in women and rarely discussed in fertility conversations.
When looking at an iron panel, I like to see values of 60-80. If you are having a monthly period, I like to see values closer to 100. These are considered optimal values and differ from the standard ranges.
Improving my iron status was one of the areas I worked hardest on after years of infertility and anemia.
Your body can’t create life if it doesn’t feel nourished and safe first 🤍
Have you ever been told you were anemic? 💬
The waiting season is the hardest place to live.
Every single month… praying for a miracle. Another negative test. Another wave of heartbreak.
Wondering if it will ever happen for you like it seems to happen for everyone else.
I lived in that in-between for 7 long, painful years before we were finally blessed with our miracle.
If you are in the waiting right now, I want you to hear this from someone who has been there:
Do not give up on your dream of becoming a mom — no matter what that path looks like.
During the waiting season, I stopped living month-to-month and started focusing on my health… especially egg quality. Because here’s the truth most women aren’t told enough:
✨ You only need one healthy egg to conceive. Just one.
Don’t give up on your one. 🤍
If you’re walking this journey and need guidance, I help women every day through women’s health coaching.

You are not alone in the waiting. 💛
Hydration isn’t just about quenching thirst… it plays a HUGE role in reproductive health 💧✨
This was one area I struggled during my infertility journey. I would have a busy day and forget to drink any water all day long. It was causing brain fog, headaches, muscle pain, worsening my cramps, and affecting my fertility.
When your body is properly hydrated:
💧Hormones can be produced and balanced more efficiently
💧Cervical mucus quality improves (which helps s***m travel!)
💧Blood flow delivers oxygen and nutrients to reproductive organs
💧Eggs and follicles get the support they need to develop
Even mild dehydration can throw off hormone signaling and menstrual regularity.
💧 Daily hydration goals:
Women: ~8 cups/day or try for half your body weight in ounces.
Men: ~10 cups/day
Pregnancy/Breastfeeding: 9–10 cups/day
Trying to conceive: aim for at least 6–8 cups and adjust for activity + climate
And don’t forget electrolytes 👇Sodium, potassium, magnesium, calcium, and chloride are essential for s***m motility, egg activation, and follicle growth. Adding electrolytes (or coconut water) can make a big difference—especially if you exercise or live in a hot climate.
My current favorite electrolytes are from Thorne!
Small habit. Big fertility impact. 💙Start with your water bottle today.
