Sure, there’s the occasional MUA that is late and doesn’t actually treat her business like a business (& that’s a whole other post later. Cuz you truly get what you pay for)

I’m not saying moments shouldn’t happen. They absolutely should. The sentimental moments are some of the sweetest parts of a wedding morning (& my favorite to witness).

The goal isn’t to rush through your wedding morning or eliminate every unexpected moment, but It’s to protect the time you already paid for.

Have your details ready before the photographer arrives.

Give someone else the job of finding things.

Take important calls outside of the makeup chair when possible.

And if you have a sentimental gift, consider doing it before the bride sits down for glam.

And on the makeup artist’s side? A good artist should know how to adapt, communicate, and handle pressure when things inevitably happen.

It’s a team effort.

Because when everyone protects the timeline, the bride gets to actually enjoy her morning instead of feeling like she’s constantly being pulled in five different directions🤎

When you book your wedding makeup, I’m reserving that date exclusively for you. That means I’m potentially turning away other inquiries for that same date, which is why retainers are non-refundable and cancellation policies are in place.

My bridal pricing is clearly listed on my website so you know the investment before you ever inquire or sign a contract.

There shouldn’t be any surprises when it comes to what your bridal makeup will cost or what is required to secure your date. I make that information easy to find because I believe you deserve to know exactly what you’re committing to.

So when you decide to book, I ask that you’re prepared to commit to that investment just as I’m committing my time, energy, and your wedding date to you.

Know the investment, read the policies and ask your questions.

I want my brides to feel good about their investment from the very beginning and I want to be able to confidently hold your date knowing that commitment goes both ways.

I completely understand that life happens and sometimes wedding plans have to change. These policies aren’t about punishing you when that happens, they’re about protecting the commitment we both make when you choose to book with me.
