Early morning label printing—yes, we have Cthulhu bath bombs back—I realized I missed the opportunity for a clever name: “the Bath of Cthulhu” 😂 I’m easily amused!
will be out for day 2 of the Peek'n Peak Resort Fall Fest from 10-5. If you’re a person like me who doesn’t like crowds, grab your rain jacket and an umbrella—although on Bath Bomb dad’s weather app—he sees no rain after late morning. They have a few hot beverage ☕️ vendors around as well—plus lots of food choices.

Here’s another fun tidbit—we have been using the same printer I purchased for $30 new like 12 years ago! We print probably 20k++ labels on it each year. It’s the most low end printer possible, haha, and has taken such a beating. Once in awhile it jams and I think “this is it, it’s dead” but then it just keeps going! I mean, it’s not the best printer—I should ideally have laser printed labels for our sugar scrubs, but for everything else we make, it’s been a good little printer! 🖨️ I subscribe to and I never ever have to think about buying ink—it shows up at my door when I need it—which is great for my scattered ADHD brain, haha.

…Peacock 🦚! Which one do you like better? A couple days ago I was perusing the molds available on Cada Molds…before I read the post—I saw a peacock 🦚 when it was advertised as a turkey 🦃 mold! The only silly thing we did bad here—we placed fall colors 💛❤️🧡embeds inside, so you’re peacocks are going to be partying in autumnal bath art!

Unfortunately—I will NOT be able to make it to the Lawrence Park Township farmers market—but please go and support the farmers and artists that are there in my hometown/neighborhood! I also hear there will be a guy selling reasonably priced pumpkins, too!

🍁🦃🎃We are getting loads of bath bombs prepped and ready for this weekend! First off you’ll find Bubble Mom in her hometown of Lawrence Park Township at the Farmers Market at the (boat) Launch—final one of the season! This is located at the boat launch in the Lake Cliff subdivision. Then you’ll find for the first weekend of the Peek'n Peak Resort Fall Fest—we will be there for both weekends. Our booth this year is closer to the back area.

🇵🇱🇵🇱🇵🇱🥟 October is Polish American month! —where both sides of my dad’s family decided to emigrate to, is in the top 25 cities with Polish Heritage—at one point in time, we were up in the top 10! My dad’s parents each had 12 siblings each who all grew up here in Erie 😳🫣😮 (and here I am barely able to handle 2 kids, lol). I joke all the time—that if you’re Polish and grew up here in Erie—there is a good chance we are related!

I was handed my genealogy on my mom’s side—back to the 1300’s. No Polish ancestry there, but I had an ancestor 13th in line to the English crown, architects in Boston, NYC and Philly, and a president of Harvard—basically part of the colonial expansion here in the US.

I had no genealogy for my dad—I still haven’t seen a photo of his dad (my grandfather)—I knew only the names of his grandparents. So back when my babies were young I started digging—and then I lost my dad—so I dug in deeper. It’s one of those time periods that shaped my views of immigration, too. There were a lot of ugly things happening in Poland—I cried a lot doing that research. Some of my cousins from Poland are in Brazil, some are in India—some in Chicago, Buffalo or Pittsburgh—because had their parents/grandparents not fled there—they wouldn’t be alive. Then there were the ones where there was an abrupt end to the paper trail…😔

So here are my offerings to celebrate the resilience, strength and determination of my ancestors. My father has been a huge inspiration to this “daddy’s girl”—he was a design engineer and held patents—he was actually an enigma—he was 100% hearing impaired as a child—dumped off for being “deaf and dumb”—but teachers actually saw he was a savant! Now if only I could channel some of those engineering skills into my meager soap and mold designs!

And also, you’ll find Bubble Mom and the OG CEO out at the Farmer’s Market in Fairview, PA hosted by the Fairview Township Parks & Recreation on Chestnut St from 9-1 tomorrow.

When we like to actually repeat our bath bombs (there have been some we have made once and said “nope, not again), I like to then print sheets out like this one, so I can reference it—because for some reason even though I have a pretty decent memory, somehow I would manage to make them wildly different the next time. I’m human. The other reason I print these—is because I don’t like disrupting the music on my phone while painting to look up a picture in my phone picture library 🤳😂

Our amazing customers cleared us out of almost all of our Halloween bath goodies this past weekend at WineFest, so we have been tirelessly restocking them, along with a few of our regular bath bombs. And uh …. *cringe* we may also be rolling out some (this hurts me to say 😂) CHRISTMAS 🎅🏻⛄️🐧bath bombs—just a few, we have our “Christmas 4 for $4 each” on my bath bomb painting table as we speak—and Christmas confetti is also on our list if we can get it done today.

You can grab some of these this weekend—first will be our FIRST Fairview Township Parks & Recreation Farmers Market at Buseck Memorial Park (Chestnut St) from 9-1. And will be out at Panama Rocks Scenic Park for their Fall Foliage Fest 10-5 Saturday and Sunday!
