If you end up in our salon asking for a "Balayage" service prepare for some questions. But it's just so we can figure out exactly what you are asking for.

Since the start of Balayage it meant something completely different than what people's expectations are of it nowadays. Let me explain, in the traditional sense balayage was a word to describe a technique. The technique consisted of applying lightener without foils in a soft sweeping motion to create a blended and diffused pop of brightness. But when clients started wanting more contrast and a brighter blonde we had to pivot back to applying foils.

A traditional Balayage is still a desirable look but it mostly used on clients wanting little contrast and more of a natural look. A modern day Balayage is typically still blended but foils are used in order to create more impact. The client shown here would be an example of a modern day Balayage. A full highlight was done to brighten her ends and the shorter hairs were pushed away to help create the depth and blend at the base.

Thankfully as a client it's not that important to know how we get you to your desirable color. We just want to understand exactly what your expectations are so we can help get you the hair you are dreaming of. 😘

The stylist that created these beauties is our sweet Liv. If you have had the pleasure of having your hair done by her then you know how personable and fun she is! From the start she will discuss the best plan of action for your hair, what's possible, and what your hair journey will look like. During your appointment she enjoys chatting about books, her favorite show, Avatar, food, thrifting, and Marvel. She will give you one of the best shampoos and make sure you are feeling your absolute best before you leave.

It may still be 100000° here in Florida but man, aren't we eager for a cool Fall breeze so we can bring out all the cute sweaters!

This client here is wearing 2 rows of master weft extensions in 22-24in length. Maintenance is fairly simple, every 6-8 weeks we remove and reinstall for a clean move-up.
