When a client tells me she’s ready to embrace her natural gray, my goal isn’t to cover it, change it, or make her start over with another color routine.

It’s to create a plan that allows her natural gray to grow in, while slowly transforming the previously colored hair to blend WITH it.

That means I’m looking at:

✨ Your individual gray pattern
✨ Years of previous color
✨ Where you’re naturally lighter + darker
✨ How your hair will look as it continues to grow
✨ What we can realistically accomplish while keeping your hair healthy
✨ How each appointment gets us closer to your long-term goal

And one of the biggest differences?

If we’re growing out your natural gray, I don’t want to keep coloring over it.

Whenever possible, I leave that new growth alone and work on the previously colored hair instead.

Gray blending also isn’t always a one-appointment service. Your first appointment can be a HUGE transformation, but as more natural gray grows in, we get more information. We may add another highlight here, deepen a lowlight there, or adjust your tone until everything starts flowing together naturally.

It’s a process, but it’s a process designed to eventually give you MORE freedom from constant root appointments, not another color cycle you’re stuck maintaining. 🤍

As this very special day comes to an end I have to say a very happy birthday to the love of my life! I am genuinely so blessed & lucky to say that I got to marry my absolute best friend. & I know a lot of people say that but I genuinely mean it & I know anyone who has talked to either of us feels that. There is not a day that goes by that I’m not thankful for God bringing us together at 19 & 20. David is everything I could have ever dreamed of or asked for in a husband & more. He is so selfless, caring, & gentle while also being such a hard worker & provider for our family. He is truly my ray of sunshine on a bad day & the only thing I could wish for is that time would slow down & that I never have to live a day without him. 🤍

First, I never want someone to feel bad for having a budget. We all have one.

But I do want to challenge the idea that choosing the lowest price always saves money.

So many of my color corrections, gray blending clients, and blondes started with that exact sentence. They tried another option, spent hundreds trying to get where they wanted to be, and eventually found themselves in my chair anyway.
