And yes, I’m talking about consultations.

A consultation isn’t just me looking at your hair and telling you a price. Before I agree to provide a service, I need to understand what I’m actually working with.

Your current locs or natural hair.
Your scalp and hair health.
Your previous maintenance.
Your goals.
The service you’re requesting.
And whether what you want is actually appropriate for your hair.

Sometimes what you booked—or what you saw online—is not what your hair needs. And I’d rather tell you that BEFORE you spend your money or sit in my chair for hours.

That’s also why I prefer in-person consultations instead of trying to assess everything through a picture. There are things I need to see, feel, and discuss with you that a photo simply cannot tell me.

So yes, at Loc’d In With Dej, consultations are REQUIRED for new clients. 🤎
