This is my second install since taking Bridges Seamless Sew-In class, and y’all… it’s definitely giving seamless!
A lot of people have asked me why I took the class. As stylists, we know there’s always room to grow, and sew-ins were an area where I wanted to improve. I didn’t mind investing in myself or supporting India B and the amazing work she’s doing in the beauty industry.

Something I’ve been noticing behind the chair: some of my clients who wear all-human-hair braids seem to retain more length when we take their style down. I’m still observing this, so I can’t say the human hair itself makes the hair grow faster, but the difference has definitely caught my attention!
One thing I love about all-human-hair braids is the fuller, natural-looking finish. They do need a little extra care to stay manageable: gently detangle to help prevent tangling, protect the hair at night with a satin scarf or bonnet, and use the right products for the hair.
I’m continuing to pay attention to what I see with my clients and their hair over time. Have you tried all-human-hair braids?

Quintina Arnett-Pewitte is an entrepreneur, certified trichologist, author, educator, nonprofit leader, and advocate for healthy hair and scalp wellness. A graduate of the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff with a Bachelor of Science in Food Service, Restaurant Management and Nutrition, she has built a career centered on education, entrepreneurship, innovation, and community impact.
Before becoming an entrepreneur, Quintina spent ten years in corporate America. When her position was eliminated, she was faced with a life-changing decision. Recognizing the lack of African American hairstylists and healthy hair resources in Northwest Arkansas, she chose to pursue cosmetology and turn a challenge into an opportunity. That decision would ultimately lead to the creation of multiple businesses, educational initiatives, and community programs that continue to impact lives today.
Quintina is the founder and owner of Glitz Beauty Bar and Glitz Hair Collection, businesses dedicated to promoting healthy hair, scalp wellness, and luxury beauty experiences. Through her commitment to innovation and education, she has expanded her reach beyond the salon by developing her own product line and successfully making products available on Walmart.com, allowing customers nationwide to access healthy hair solutions.
As a certified trichologist, Quintina is recognized for her expertise in healthy hair restoration, scalp wellness, and hair loss education. She is passionate about helping individuals understand the importance of healthy hair from the inside out and continues to introduce innovative solutions that elevate the salon experience.
She is also the author of My Healthy Hair Adventure, a children’s book designed to educate and empower young readers through healthy hair awareness and self-confidence. In addition, she founded the Healthy Hair Movement, a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization dedicated to educating communities about healthy hair practices and empowering future generations through education and mentorship.

This is my client’s second K-Tip install, and healthy extensions start with consistent care.
