Why can’t I tweeze or wax once beginning electrolysis treatments???
Electrolysis is systematically shrinking the blood supply to each hair treated. When you tweeze or wax, this forcibly rips the root from the papilla. The body believes it has been injured, and sends more blood to the area to heal it. Since blood is what causes hair to grow, if you increase the blood supply, you will strengthen the hair. This will cause an increase in the amount of electrolysis treatments you will need.
