One of the coolest parts of being in this industry for so long is getting to reconnect with people who have known you through different seasons of life.

I’ve known this beautiful soul for over 20 years.

I remember her always having to draw her brows on, and as a natural redhead, her features have always been soft, beautiful, and uniquely hers. Being trusted to enhance those features with brows and lip blush was such an honor.

That’s what I love most about permanent makeup.

It’s not about changing someone’s face. It’s about creating a natural enhancement that helps their features stand out while still looking like them.

She’ll wake up every day with a beautiful foundation. If she wants to add makeup, she can. If she doesn’t, she’ll still have naturally enhanced brows and lips that fit her features beautifully.

Permanent makeup has been one of the greatest passions of my career, and after all these years, that hasn’t changed.

While I’ve stepped back from many services, I still offer permanent makeup by referral and private inquiry.

All permanent makeup services are $200 per session. Most new procedures require two sessions, while touch-ups are often completed in one.

Yep that's me....I’ve been speaking about illegal injections for years, and unfortunately, we’re still having the same conversations nearly 20 years later.

When I was 19, I was told I was going to a “med spa.” I trusted what I was told. I believed the person performing the injections was qualified.

They weren’t.

I ended up having my lips and buttocks injected with a substance that was not approved in the United States. Years later, my body began rejecting the product. What followed was years of complications, pain, multiple surgeries, and reconstruction procedures in California, Miami, and eventually Colombia.

This isn’t fear-mongering. This isn’t jealousy. This isn’t “hating.”

This is what can happen when medical procedures are performed by people who are not properly licensed, trained, or legally authorized to perform them.

One of the biggest dangers is that when something goes wrong, there is often very little accountability. There may be no medical board to report them to. No supervising physician. No professional license at risk. No guarantee that the product used was legitimate, sterile, or even what you were told it was.

Someone looking good when they leave an appointment does not prove a procedure was safe.

Many complications don’t show up immediately. Some take months. Some take years.

Please do your research. Verify credentials. Verify licenses. Ask questions. If someone becomes defensive when asked about their qualifications, that’s information too.

I share my story because I don’t want someone else to learn this lesson the hard way.

If my experience helps even one person avoid what I went through, it’s worth continuing to speak up.

I been saying this since freaking 2010 I went though this myself someone botched me illegally and I've had multiple surgeries and spent over 50k to fix it, this person wasn't my injector but a supposed "medical professional" with no actual license!!! It's wild this is still going on 20 years later and no one has actually stopped it this person isn't even the only one she just hella popular!

Some days I laugh when people call me a landlord because that’s honestly one of the smaller parts of what I do.
