✨ For those of you I’ve never told my journey to hair…. I had a humbling start.

😔 17 years ago now I was just moving back home after a failed attempt at living on my own.
I had struggled with my purpose after a dream of mine was shot down. I had my lowest point and thought 💭 What are my options? What am I even good at? What do I even like?
An old mentor/ friends mom told me to come shadow her at her salon.
She told me “Hair is art, you like art, you’re perfect for this!”
She talked that over with me for weeks. She kept encouraging me. Finally I applied at a Redken arts school and was there a total of 10 months till I completed my education. This picture is the day I finished and my grandmother was such a huge supporter!
💗 Niala Matichak is the reason I’m a hair stylist! I know she’s having a glass of w**e up in heaven saying she was right.
She definitely was right!

🎨 I enjoy my craft! I cannot think of a world where I don’t do hair! The thought of not being able to scares me! It’s my passion still to this day.
