A little reminder as we head into a very busy season at Cloud Nine ☁️

A card on file is required for all appointments. This allows me to enforce the cancellation/no show policy that has always been in place.

My cancellation policy is 48 hours notice. I always remind everyone when they schedule with me or go to book their next appointment to please let me know 48 hours in advance if they need to cancel or reschedule.

Cancellations or reschedules made with less than 48 hours notice are subject to a 50% cancellation fee and no shows are subject to the same 50% cancellation fee.

One thing I want to clarify because there seems to be some confusion: rescheduling an appointment does not cancel out the cancellation policy. If an appointment is changed or rescheduled within the 48-hour window, the cancellation fee still applies.

I have been experiencing last minute cancellations, reschedules, and no shows lately. Many of these appointments are booked 6+ weeks in advance because my schedule fills quickly. When an appointment is cancelled the day before, or someone doesn’t show, there isn’t enough time to offer that spot to another client who has been waiting to get in.

I completely understand that life happens and things come up. This policy isn’t meant to punish anyone for an occasional emergency or unexpected situation. It’s simply necessary for me to protect my time, my business, and the clients who are waiting for appointments.

Moving forward, I will be more consistent about enforcing the cancellation policy for everyone.
