Lived in color with a soft grow out.

08/25/2026

A lot has happened this past year.

I lost someone I loved.

I watched the salon I loved slowly dwindle until it closed its doors for the last time.

And honestly, I went through hell trying to find my footing again.

There comes a point in life when you realize you can’t keep holding on to something simply because it’s familiar. You have to trust yourself. You have to trust that there is something on the other side of the fear.

One day, while driving the back roads to work, I made that decision. I decided to trust the bigger picture and gave my notice.

That very same day, I ran into Amber.

I told her I was leaving, and I’ll never forget the feeling I had when she said the words I needed to hear:

She was opening a salon.

Within a couple of weeks, Elizabeth House Salon opened its doors and welcomed us—and welcomed Folsom.

Looking back, I realize it wasn’t just a new salon.

It was a new beginning.

There is something incredibly special about the Stylists I work alongside. We are connected by more than hair. We are bonded by life, loss, change, motherhood, aging, starting over, and all the things that shape us into the women we become.

I couldn’t be prouder to be surrounded by so much talent.

But this next chapter of my career has also brought me clarity about who I really want to help.

Women like me. Women who are changing.

Women who are noticing that their hair isn’t what it used to be.

Maybe it’s thinning.

Maybe the texture has completely changed.

Maybe your color doesn’t look the same anymore.

Maybe your hair suddenly seems dry, fragile, unruly, or impossible to style.

Maybe you’re going through changes in your body and health and wondering, “Why is my hair doing this?”

Or maybe you simply look in the mirror and realize that the hair you’ve had for years no longer feels like you.

I want you to know something:

You are not imagining it. And you are not alone.

As women move through our 40s, 50s, 60s and beyond, our hair can change dramatically. But we’re often given the same old haircut, color, and advice we’ve always received—when what we actually need is someone who understands that we’re not the same woman we were 10, 20, or 30 years ago.

This is where my experience comes in.

Over the years, I’ve developed a unique perspective that allows me to look beyond simply cutting and coloring hair. I want to understand what has changed, why it may be happening, and what your options are.

Sometimes the answer is learning to work with your new hair.

Sometimes it’s making a change.

Sometimes it’s recognizing that something underneath the surface deserves attention and knowing when to recommend the next step.

There is no one-size-fits-all answer.

And there is no reason you have to settle for hair that makes you feel older, frustrated, or unlike yourself.

You deserve to look in the mirror and recognize yourself again.

Maybe not the 25-year-old version of yourself.

The woman you are now.

Confident. Beautiful. Current. Comfortable in her own skin.

That is the woman I want to help.

So if you’ve been struggling with your hair and thinking, “I don’t know what happened, but nothing seems to work anymore,” I’d love to talk with you.

You may not need to become someone new.

You may simply need to understand the woman and the hair you have today.

And I’m here to help you do exactly that.
