Located inside Hair Plus Salon in Fort Collins Colorado. Kendra has been in the industry since 2010 My compassion towards people helped me thrive.
After searching for the perfect work and home life balance for myself and my two children, and having a deep seeded desire to help others and let my creative side flow, I began my journey as a Hairstylist in 2011. I was able to make each client feel at ease in my chair, and still today, pride myself on truly listening to each client's needs, desires, and lifestyle, to ensure each visit they can walk out feeling like the best version of themselves. If Im not working with a client behind the chair, you can find me seeking out new techniques, products, and education. I love to soak in new knowledge! I believe we are never done growing and changing. Outside of the salon..my family is my world. I am blessed with an amazing teenage daughter and son. I love to make memories with them whenever and wherever we can. Summer is our favorite season, you'll find us floating the river or dancing and laughing to bluegrass or reggae music festivals (but we really aren't genre specific..I love all music!)
I understand life easily gets hectic quickly, and that its hard to take moments just for ourselves in life. I genuinely care about each guest. I strive to make each client feel relaxed and comfortable, and to have their busy day melt away once in my chair. I’m easy going and light hearted, and want to pass that vibe along to everyone I meet. So, if you are craving a little break from your day to day routine, call and book your appointment. Having a day set aside to recharge, rest, do something that brings joy, and most importantly (in my opinion) a day to reflect on what your grateful for both big and small, is crucial in having a balanced life.

If February had a themed hair color..this would be one of them.
First thought is a dark chocolate covered cherry🍒🍫🍫
The shine and vibrancy color gives is unbelievable.
Keys to keeping your color fresh and vibrant?
-Minimal wash days each week
-Use cooler water when shampooing
-Use a good quality shampoo and conditioner for your hair type/ style of haircolor. For example I love Joico Kpack Color Therapy or their Defy Damage line.
-If heat styling, use a good quality heat protectant and do not heat style hair on the highest heat setting..turn that heat dial down. Heat can fade hair color prematurely.
-Adding in a hair mask / treatment weekly or bi weekly keeps those hair strands nourished and full of shine as well!

Are you not ready to embrace your natural greys yet..but tired of roots screaming at you every 3 to 4 weeks?
You have options 😊 without having to feel like you are being forced to accept those grey hairs too soon. (Which I get! You have to be mentally ready to fully embrace those grey strands!)
For this gorgeous lady…to help her natural blend and not be as noticeable, we gradually changed her base color 3 shades lighter then her natural color. Then every 3rd appt or so we add some very fine, natural blonde highlights. The blonde helps camouflage her roots and gets her through a few extra weeks in between root touch up appointments.
It also adds some amazing dimension to the over all look of her color and brightens her face❤️
If you aren’t ready to embrace those stubborn greys yet..but feeling stuck with root touch ups every 3 weeks (ish) Let’s chat! Maybe a new look is what your craving ❤️
