The cat is finally out of the hat… my daughter, Destiny, is leaving for the military.

These past few weeks have been some of the most precious moments we’ve shared. We went dancing, sang karaoke, enjoyed brunch together, worked out side by side, and simply enjoyed each other’s company. Every moment became a memory that I will cherish forever.

As a mother, it’s hard to let go. But as I watch her step into this new chapter, I am filled with pride. Destiny has always been a smart, determined, and driven young woman. She scored an incredible 92 on her test and is entering the military with the rank of E-4. What an accomplishment!

God has truly kept His hands on her life. Through every season, He has protected her, guided her, and opened doors for her. I know He will continue to lead her steps as she begins this journey.

Destiny, I am going to miss you more than words can express, but I am so excited to see all that God has in store for you. Go make your mark on the world. Your future is bright, and I couldn’t be more proud to call you my daughter.

Please keep my baby girl in your prayers as she begins this new adventure. ❤️🙏🇺🇸

Today is truly a blessed day.

Today, I stepped back into the classroom after a two-month break, doing what I love and walking in my purpose once again. At the same time, I’m experiencing a major life transition as my oldest daughter spreads her wings and leaves the nest.

So yes, my emotions are all over the place. I’m excited, grateful, proud, and a little emotional all at once. But through it all, I can see God’s hand moving in every season of my life and in the lives of my children.

Today is a reminder that growth often comes with change, and change is often the doorway to blessings.

God, thank You for every lesson, every transition, and every blessing.
