You’ve probably seen him around the shop, so let’s take a minute to put the spotlight on Zachary Loredo! 🫡✂️
From a 9 year Navy vet to a full time barber, Zach has definitely had a few chapters before finding his place behind one of our chairs.
After his time in the Navy, he continued pursuing barbering and eventually studied at Paul Mitchell, bringing his experience, personality, and love for the craft into our shop.
But beyond the clippers, Zach is just a genuinely good dude. Kind, welcoming, and always down for a good conversation. When he’s not behind the chair, he’s usually spending time with his wife and kids, indulging in photography, or smoking some seriously good meat.👨🏽‍🍳
We’re proud to have Zach as part of the FWBS crew and even happier to call him one of our own!💪🏽

☀️It was the Summer of fresh cuts, plants finding new homes, vintage rack discoveries and of course vinyl providing the soundtrack on the Near Southside, Inc. 💈🪴👕🎶🌞

Last weekend, we opened the doors after hours for our Vintage + Vinyl Night Market, bringing together vintage, vinyl, good food, good music and a room full of people who make Fort Worth feel like Fort Worth. The turnout was incredible and want to thank everyone who came through, shopped with our vendors, dug through the crates and spent the evening with us. Nights like this are exactly what we want Fort Worth Barber Shop to be about: bringing people together, supporting local small businesses and creating more reasons to come hang out with us beyond the haircut.

If you missed the Night Market, the good news is that vintage and vinyl aren’t just special-events around here. Fort Worth Barber Shop is home to vintage shopping and a curated selection of vinyl records every day we’re open, including records from our friends at Record Town. Whether you’re coming in for a haircut or simply looking for vintage clothing and records in Fort Worth, you’re always welcome to stop in, browse the racks, flip through the crates, and hang for a while.

Today marks 3 years of McKenna in the mix at Fort Worth Barber Shop! Her creativity, hospitality, work ethic and genuine care she brings to our team and everyone who walks through our doors, is refreshing. And if you know her, you’ve experienced that. McKenna has become such an important part of what makes this place feel like us.

Let’s give a warm Fort Worth Barber Shop welcome to our newest team member, Alan Antunez! 👏🏾
Alan’s barbering journey began in high school, cutting his brother’s hair at home. What started as a hobby stayed with him through college, and eventually he took a leap of faith, changed careers, and followed his passion to become a professional barber.
When he’s not behind the chair, you can find Alan catching a movie, hiking the trails, or searching for a great cup of coffee. A Fort Worth local and country music fan, Alan values the connections he builds with every client, treating them like family and creating a space that feels welcoming and familiar. His cheerful personality and fun energy make him a great addition to the shop, and we couldn’t be happier to have him on the team!
