My answer is NO. If you have sensitive or mature skin, start with unscented (with or without charcoal) or Honey & Oats. I use pure essential oils not fragrance oils but if you're sensitive, always start with the basics and patch test first.

🚩If you've ever been told fragrance "just washes off," the research says it's more complicated than that. Read the ingredient label not just the front.
A 2024 study on body washes and soaps found that some fragrance compounds don't simply rinse away. Fragrance chemicals were still detectable on skin up to 24 hours after washing.

If it says patchouli, lavender, frankincense, sandalwood, tea tree, rosemary, or peppermint on the front, don't assume it's the real ingredient. Read the label. One essential oil is one ingredient. "Fragrance" can be a single term representing many undisclosed ingredients.

The 1% goat milk loophole is real. Just because the front says "goat milk soap" doesn't mean goat milk is the main ingredient. Always read the ingredient list.
