For this client, I performed a Jessner Chemical Peel using GlyMed Plus, applying 3 carefully monitored layers to achieve a more intensive exfoliation.

🧪 WHAT IS A JESSNER PEEL?

Jessner’s Solution is a professional chemical exfoliating treatment traditionally formulated with three powerful ingredients:

✨ Lactic Acid: Helps loosen dead skin cells, improve texture, and promote a smoother-looking complexion.

✨ Salicylic Acid: Oil-soluble and particularly beneficial for congested pores, excess oil, and blemish-prone skin.

✨ Resorcinol: Enhances exfoliation by helping break down the bonds between dead skin cells.

🔥 WHY THREE LAYERS?

Jessner peels can be applied in multiple passes, depending on the client’s skin condition, tolerance, and desired treatment endpoint.

Each additional layer increases the cumulative exposure and can intensify the peel’s effects. Throughout this process, I carefully monitor the skin for redness, frosting, sensitivity, and other visible responses.

The goal is controlled exfoliation — not simply applying as many layers as possible!
