As we move through the cooler, darker, more inward seasons of the year, both Ayurveda and Traditional Chinese Medicine remind us that nature is always reflected within us.

In Ayurveda, this client presented with signs of Kapha imbalance—stagnation, fluid retention, heaviness, and sluggish movement of energy. Kapha is governed by the elements of Earth and Water, bringing stability and nourishment when balanced, but congestion and stagnation when excessive.

In Traditional Chinese Medicine, this mirrors an excess of Yin energy. Yin is cooling, restorative, feminine, and deeply nourishing, but when it accumulates without enough Yang to mobilize it, we can see puffiness, fluid retention, sluggish circulation, fatigue, and a feeling of being “stuck.”

This Qi Beauty STIMS placement was intentionally designed to:
