This was such a fun session. It took about 2 hours start to finish. Keep reading to get the details on what we did to achieve her look.

How many syringes of hyaluronic acid dermal filler do you think I used to achieve this result?

The goal was to accentuate her naturally pouty lips and give her a rested, more refreshed overall aesthetic.

Most of the appointment time was spent on her lips—fine tuning symmetry, definition, and balancing her upper & lower lip proportions.

Next, I treated the under eyes to brighten her up and then treated the cheek areas to create a lifted contour that gave her an elevated side profile while still looking natural.

We did a total of 3 syringes!
This was her first time getting any HA injectables, and she was fearless. It is completely normal to be nervous with injectable treatments, but since she was referred by a long time regular of mine, she was a lot more comfortable with trusting the process & my recommendations.

Just a touch of shape & hydration for this beauty. She had a history of lip filler elsewhere and had a traumatizing ordeal throughout her journey. In the end, she had a poor aesthetic outcome that resulted in her needing several dissolving sessions with her previous injector.

Since she started coming to me about a year ago for neuromodulator injections to relieve jaw tension as well as improving lower face symmetry, she decided to schedule a Mini Lip Plump appointment with me.

Needless to say, she was scared and anxious due to past experience with lip injections that were painful, left major bruising and swelling…she was holding off as long as she could due to “literally holding back tears” during her previous lip treatments.

Now, y’all know. THAT IS NOT HOW I PLAY. I always want whoever is in my chair to be as comfortable as possible. So after sitting with numbing cream for like 25 min and I began the procedure, she was on edge and waiting for it to hurt like heck. She was SO relieved after a few minutes to find that she was going to be fine throughout the lip procedure. I was so happy for her that she was able to experience how it SHOULD be. Minimal discomfort, totally manageable—-not dreadful and scary.

Power of lips + chin 🔥

My goal was to improve symmetry to the lower face and to the lip shape, as well as soften shadows to the lower face and enhance the overall lower face profile.

Products used: 1 mL Volbella for a complete plump & defined outline while keep it demure. Voluma 1 mL to the lower face to create a defined jawline & replace volume loss and asymmetry to the pre-jowl sulcus. This results in a lift the lower face & supports the lip result for a seamless enhancement that still looks natural to her anatomy.

Results are immediate and duration should last 1 year for the lips and 2 years for the chin area. Cannula technique to the chin/pre-jowl was used for safety and minimize the risk of bruising. Swelling is normal and will resolve in 1-2 weeks.
