Today I went back to my roots. I had the opportunity to spend time with the students at Mesa Barber School , the same place where I got my start. Going back brought back a lot of great memories. I remember being a student there, learning how to use the clippers, build confidence, and eventually find my own style. So much of what I have today started with the lessons I learned in those rooms.⁣
⁣
I primarily wanted the students to understand that barbering is about so much more than cutting hair. Anyone can learn the technical side of a haircut with enough practice. What separates an average barber from a great one is truly connecting with people, listening to their stories, remembering their names, and making them feel seen and valued. The haircut is what you do. The relationship is what people remember! ⁣

Yooooooo 👋🏽⁣⁣⁣
⁣
With back to school coming up we know it can be a stressful time for families that have a tighter budget. So we want to do our part to help! ⁣⁣⁣
⁣
We want to mail out (2) $50 gift cards 💵⁣⁣⁣
⁣
Do you know a family that could really benefit from this? ⁣⁣⁣
⁣
Here’s what to do:⁣⁣⁣
⁣
-Shoot us a DM and let us know a little about the family and why you feel they could use the gift card. ⁣⁣⁣
⁣
-We will randomly draw 2 winners (This Friday, July 24th). We will then DM you back and ask for an address and we will send them out, totally anonymous. ⁣⁣⁣
⁣
💈 Let’s do this 💈⁣⁣⁣
