Five years.

It’s hard to believe that five years have passed since Salon Luna opened its doors. What started as a dream has grown into something so much bigger than I ever imagined, and I couldn’t be more grateful.

This year has been full of change. We said goodbye to our sweet Lily as she followed her dreams and moved to NYC. While we miss her dearly, we’re so proud of everything she’s accomplishing. We also welcomed Leah and Jenna to the Salon Luna family, and they have been such a wonderful addition to our team. Watching Ryleigh grow from assistant to stylist has been one of my favorite parts of this year. Seeing her confidence and talent shine has been so rewarding.

To my team, thank you. Thank you for showing up every day, working hard, supporting one another, and believing in what we’re building together. None of this would be possible without each of you. 🫶🏻

To our incredible clients, thank you for trusting us, supporting us, and choosing Salon Luna. You aren’t just clients, you’ve become part of our story. Your loyalty means more than youll ever know.

To our Shaler community, thank you for continuing to support small businesses like ours. Whether you’ve visited the salon, attended one of our events, or simply recommended us to a friend, you’ve helped us grow in ways I could have never imagined.

And to my family, Dallas, Lucca, and Jonah. thank you for your endless love, encouragement, and sacrifices. You are the reason I keep chasing this dream. If you’ve read this far and didn’t know, we’re adding a daughter to our family this coming year. Due February 2027 🩷

Five years hasn’t always been easy. Owning a small business comes with challenges, but hard work, perseverance, an incredible team, and the unwavering support of our community have carried us through every season. A lot of asked me today how I planned to celebrate, my reply was, “like every small business owner out there, working a 12 hour day!” 🤣 (we did order pizza, it counts as celebrating!)

I’m so proud of how far we’ve come, and even more excited for what’s ahead.

We hope everyone has a safe, fun, and relaxing holiday!

Our team has been soaking up some sunshine, recharging our batteries, and trying not to think about hair for at least a few days… (We lasted about 10 minutes. 😂)
