Ring of Color

I had the opportunity to bring Ring of Color to Beyond The City youth wellness event, and honestly, this experience reminded me why I love creating beyond the product.

Ring of Color is a beauty brand, not a skincare brand, so when I was invited to talk to youth about wellness and skincare, I wanted to find a way to make it authentic to what we do. 💕

Because if we’re going to talk about lip care, I believe it’s also important to talk about taking care of the skin around it and building simple, healthy self-care habits overall.

So we created a little Self-Care Lab where the youth could make their own lip oils and facial treatments while we talked about simple skincare, lip care, and why taking a little time to care for yourself matters.

But honestly, my favorite part wasn’t even the products. It was the conversations, the laughter, and getting to interact with the youth. Seeing them get excited about creating something of their own was so rewarding.

A huge thank you to Beyond the City for creating spaces that invest in the wellness, growth, and confidence of young people and for allowing Ring of Color to be part of it. ☺️

This experience was such a beautiful reminder that self-care doesn’t have to be complicated, and sometimes it starts with something as simple as taking care of your lips.
