The light changes. The pace shifts. People come back from summer with a different kind of tired — not just physical, but the tiredness that accumulates when life has been full.

I see it in the people I work with.

More tension in the shoulders. Less give in the tissues. A nervous system that's been on for a long time.

September is a good time to reset.

Pain is not your body failing you.

It's your body communicating.

The question isn't always "how do I make this stop?"

Sometimes the more useful question is:

"What is my body trying to tell me — and have I been listening?"

That shift in perspective doesn't eliminate discomfort. But it changes the relationship with it.

And that change is often where progress begins.
