I help working moms ditch burnout with systems that create calm, control & time for themselves.

10/15/2026

OK, confession: I got up 15 minutes earlier every morning, so I was ready, calm, and totally set up to lead by example.

My son did not follow. 😂🫣

I’m talking about what I’ve learned since:
✅while leading by example helps, but isn’t enough on its own
✅how to let your kids help build the routine so they actually own it
✅why starting with one small piece beats a whole new system
✅why good enough is a gift to both of you

If you’re tired of being the one who remembers everything, come hang out with me. 💙

The sentence that has saved me more times than I can count:

“Let me look at my week and get back to you.”

That’s it. No emergency yes required. 🙌

It gives your brain a chance to catch up before your mouth commits. And it’s kind, complete, and professional.

Here’s a little twist if you’re like me and might “check your calendar” at 11 o’clock at night, decide it’s a no, and then forget to reply:

“Can I look at my week? Would you reach back out to me tomorrow?”

Now the ball is in their court. 😉

And when the answer is no, keep it short and warm:

“Thank you for asking. My plate is full this week, so I’ll have to pass.”

No five reasons. No three apologies. A short, warm no sounds more confident, and you don’t owe anyone a tour of your calendar.

Remember, every yes you say is a no to something else. Dinner at a reasonable hour. A calm morning. Time with your people. A break for yourself.

Say these lines out loud a few times so they feel natural when you need them. 💛

Raise your hand if you’ve ever said “oh sure, no problem!” and then spent the next 10 seconds wondering who just said that. 🙋‍♀️

Your mouth committed before your brain got a vote.

Then the spiral starts. First the regret. Then you’re drafting “sorry, something came up” messages in your head. Then you feel guilty for wanting out. Then you feel guilty for feeling guilty.

By the end of the day, you’ve spent more energy going back and forth on that yes than the favor would have taken.

I have been there more times than I’d like to admit. 😅

Here’s what I finally noticed: we say yes to dodge about 30 seconds of discomfort. We’re afraid they’ll be disappointed or think we’re selfish. Then we carry that yes around for days.

Friend, wanting your time and your evenings to be yours does not make you selfish. It makes you someone who knows what’s on her plate.

Tell me I’m not the only one. What’s the last “sure, no problem” you wish you could take back? 👇

Have you ever said yes before your brain even got a vote?

Someone asks, you say “sure, no problem!” And 10 seconds later, you’re thinking, why did I just do that?

Today we’re talking about how to say no without the guilt spiral, including:
💙 why the guilt hits so hard (especially when you work from home and everyone assumes you’re “available”)
💙 four simple things that make saying no easier
💙 a few lines you can borrow word for word
💙 why every yes is also a note of something else.

Here’s the one I’m most excited to share: when you plan your week out ahead of time, you can see how full it really is. You can see what you have space for and what you don’t, and whether saying yes will leave you backloged. No more guessing in the moment.

I walk you through exactly how to lay out your week in my free Weekly Reset Guide.

Want it? Comment RESET below, and I’ll get it to you. 💙

My secret to a planned month that survives real life? The swap.

I plan a whole month of dinners at once, and yes, every single day has a meal assigned. That's what takes the "what's for dinner?" decision off my plate.

But when a day goes sideways, like a late meeting or a forgotten item needing to be dropped off at school, I don't scramble. I swap that meal with an easier one from later in the month and push the other one back. The groceries are already in the house.

Here's what makes the swap work:
✔️ Every day is planned, including leftover nights and eat-out nights
✔️ Each meal is matched to how much time I'll have that day
✔️ Any meal can move if the day needs it

Flexible structure beats a rigid plan every time.

Do you plan dinner weekly, daily, or "we'll see at 5pm"? Be honest, no judgment here 😄

Comment RESET and I'll send you my Weekly Reset Guide to support you in creating space for making dinner.

When I retired after 20 years as a vet tech, "what do I wear?" suddenly became a daily decision.

For two decades, I wore scrubs. Zero decisions.

Then I needed to be ready to take my son to school, and my mornings looked like this: pull something out. Too hot. Toss it on the bed. Pull out something else. Too cold. Toss. Repeat. Clothes everywhere, and I'm running late.

What changed was that I started deciding the night before.

The decision wasn't any easier. But at night I had space to think it through, no clock ticking, and time to put the extra clothes straight back in the closet. In the morning there was no pile on the bed and nothing left to figure out. I just got dressed and went.

The decisions didn't go away, but when I made them, changed how they feel.

What's one decision you make in the morning rush that you could make the night before? Tell me below 👇

Last call. 🚪

Registration for Chaos to Calm closes at 11:59pm tonight, and I couldn't let it go by without saying something.

If you've been reading my posts this week and felt something stir, like that's me, she's talking about me, I want you to pay attention to that feeling.

You don't have to have it all figured out first. You don't have to feel "ready." You only have to be tired of feeling this way and willing to let someone walk beside you.

We start Monday. Six weeks, six systems, and a little more calm in your home and your heart.

You'll find everything you need in the comments. And if you have a last-minute question, message me. I'm here, and I'd love to help. 💙

Today's the day. Registration for Chaos to Calm closes tonight at 11:59pm, and we start Monday.

Let me ask you something. Picture next Friday.

Are you still standing in front of the fridge at 5pm, feeling that little knot in your stomach? Still rushing out the door already behind, already tired?

Now picture six weeks from now. Dinner is decided, and you're sitting down with your family. Your morning starts calmly, and you're not carrying the whole week in your head. You can just breathe.

That's what Chaos to Calm is for. It's six weeks and six simple systems, built around your real life, with support and tools every step of the way.

If you've been sitting on the fence thinking "maybe next time," I understand. I've been there. But I don't want next month to feel exactly like this one.

If something in you is saying yes, listen to it. All the info is in the comments. 💙

Have you ever caught yourself thinking, “I should be able to figure this out on my own”?

I’ve said it to myself plenty of times. Today I’m sharing a little story about my own mornings (it involves a pile of clothes on the bed 😅) and why trying to do it all alone is usually what keeps us stuck.

If your days feel chaotic and you keep telling yourself you’ll fix it when things slow down, this one’s for you.

📣Chaos to Calm registration closes tomorrow, Friday! We kick off Monday.

In six weeks, we will work through one simple system at a time so you’re not staring at everything at once.

You’ll get tools and worksheets you can use right away, plus a group of moms who get it.

All the info is in the comments. Questions? Comment ME or send me a message, and I’ll get back to you.

Grab your coffee and join me. ☕️💙

Can I say what a lot of you are feeling but haven't said out loud?

"I'm tired of being the only one who knows everything."

The only one who knows what's for dinner. The only one who knows when the field trip is and what needs to be signed. The only one holding the whole week in her head, appointments, drive time, all of it, with no way to set it down.

That heaviness is real, and I see you.

Here's what changes it. In week one, you do a brain dump to get everything out of your head, and then you build a weekly schedule you can actually see, drive time included. No more mentally re-running the week every few hours just to make sure you haven't forgotten something.

And it doesn't stop with you. One of the women in my last group shared what she'd learned with her husband, and he started using the brain dump for himself. He built his own system out of it, one he could keep up with on his own. She wasn't the only one holding it together anymore.

That's the shift. You're not just organizing your own head. You're handing your family a way to carry some of it too.

You deserve to put some of this down. 💙

We start Monday, and registration closes Friday. You'll find more info in the comments.
