Years ago, I used to have a very complicated menu of services. Lots of buzzwords and popular sounding selections. But now I encompass all of it into one title: Customized Facial. Because that gives me the most creative control to create a facial experience that truly is bespoke to you and what you need on that particular day. It’s never just a handful of products slapped on the face. While you are hopefully drifting off to sleep, I’ll be regulating my breath and watching for yours to even out as the service progresses. I’ll be watching your skin to see how it reacts to each step and determining what it needs next. I’ll be using acupressure points to soften your nervous system and lymphatic drainage motions to help everything de-puff and flow. I’ll be saying little prayers over you the whole time. May you be at peace. May your stress melt away. May joy come into your heart unexpectedly. May you walk out of my room loving yourself more than you did when you walked in. And really none of those things have to do with skin. The skin is just the vehicle that I use as my preferred modality of treating each person holistically. It was really never about correcting the wrinkles, for me. But turns out, when you address the entire mind, body, soul picture, the wrinkles soften as if by magic ✨✨✨

We are all inundated every day with more things to buy. And if you’ve been watching my posts and wanting to try Atmosphera® | Climate-Curated Skincare but you still have so much skincare left on your shelves that you don’t want to waste, I totally get it. I’m in the same boat! But if you haven’t been seeing the results you want from the things you already have, I invite you to use those up on your neck, décolleté and back of hands. And go ahead and get started on your new regimen so you can fall in love with how good your skin can get too! 💚

Sometimes life gets really noisy. There are always outside factors grabbing at your attention, pulling your focus, maybe even making you question your WHY.
Looking up at the sky this morning, I consciously come back to my WHY.
What am I striving for?
✨daily experience of joy
✨helping others find their joy
✨filling up my cup by giving & nurturing & educating
✨creating a beautiful life for me & my child
Goals sharply back in focus. Let’s go.✨

One of the questions I get asked a lot (since we’re all becoming more aware of our skin barrier) is “how will I know when my skin barrier is healed?”
A damaged skin barrier is like a dysregulated nervous system—it’s reactive to everything.
A healed skin barrier feels safe.
Your skin isn’t getting angry over every product, every weather change, or every stressful week. The tightness, stinging, redness, and irritation start to fade, and your skin settles into a place of comfort and predictability.
When your skin stops asking for help all the time, that’s usually your sign that healing has happened.
The important step here is to continue your skincare regimen once you’ve noticed that your skin feels more comfortable. Often this is when people back off on their products thinking that everything is great. And that’s exactly what can start the barrier compromise again. Just like your body needs fuel to continue working optimally, your skin needs supportive products regularly to continue functioning at its best.
If you need guidance figuring out which products will benefit you the most, send me a message. I’m always happy to help!

I can’t get over how much Fortify Eye has improved my eye area! This eye cream is truly the best I’ve ever used. Plumping up dehydration lines, reducing puffiness from stagnation, brightening the dark circles….Im floored!
If you’ve been wanting to try a new eye cream that’s actually going to give you results, today is the last day the Climate Plus Duo is on sale. It’s going to become your new favorite!

For those of you who have been following me for a long time it may seem strange to see me jumping on this “influencer” bandwagon. I wonder if for some it seems disingenuous or like I am only here to make a sale. But I was talking about this with a client just the other day and I realized it was something I wanted to say here out loud to all of you.
I’ve never wanted to sell things to make money. Do I wanna be able to pay my bills? Absolutely. But do I wanna make quick sales, have you be disappointed by what you bought, and then never trust me with your skin again? Absolutely not. I’m here to build relationships. What I want very much is to help people feel their best. When they come to me with a problem or an issue with their skin, I want to have good things to recommend to them. Things that I think will actually help and things that I know they will enjoy using for the pure experience sake with the added bonus of results in the long run. Because building trust with people matters more to me than making a quick sale. It always has and it always will. I’m showing up more now because I am genuinely so excited by my own results with this new skincare and when you’re excited about something you share it with everyone! So if you’ve seen me talk about something that piques your interest I’m always happy to answer questions. And if none of this interests you at all, that’s OK too! I love you.💚🙏

In case anyone was wondering if your Esthetician really does think about skincare all the time, the answer is, YES! 😆😆
As I was sitting here this morning drinking my coffee and listening to the birds chattering, I was just thinking about one of our products, Vital Quench.
Of course, one of the main benefits to this product is the hyaluronic acid, which I think everyone pretty much understands at this point. It’s the molecule that pulls moisture from the air into your skin and holds it there. But to say that’s the only benefit to using this product would be a huge injustice. The main two hero ingredients that are working together WITH hyaluronic acid to boost your skin functions are, arginine and EGF (epidermal growth factor)
Arginine is an amino acid that naturally occurs in the body and is a building block of proteins, including collagen. It can support wound healing by helping repair damaged skin while also promoting collagen production, which can improve firmness and elasticity. But wait! There’s more! Arginine also hydrates the skin by supporting the skin barrier and reducing moisture loss, calms irritation and can be beneficial for sensitive or compromised skin. It even has antioxidant properties that help protect against environmental stress. What a little superhero!
And then, it’s buddy EGF comes in to signal protein naturally found in the skin that tells skin cells to grow, repair, and regenerate. Cool, right?
So while you’re just rolling your eyes over another serum, I’m over here geeking out about how everything works together to benefit your skin!
happy Wednesday, everyone!
