About Floating:
When you step into your personal flotation pod, you won't be fighting gravity. The 1000+ pounds of epsom salt in the water supports you as you lie on your back. The water is kept at skin temperature, ~93.5 degrees, which means you lose track of where your body ends and the water begins. At Drift, we encourage our guests every day to slow down, unplug, and make space for rest. We believe in practicing what we preach.
We’ll be taking our annual summer break June 30 through July 6, giving our team time to disconnect, refill their cups, spend time with the people they love, and return ready to serve our community with the care and presence you deserve.

The gentleman pictured here is one of the men I call Dad.
If he's not working, there's a good chance you'll find him on a golf course.
He plays several times a week and has for years. Golf is one of the ways he recharges, clears his mind, and spends time with friends.
But what inspired me wasn't just his love of golf.
It was watching him balance work, family, responsibilities, and all the pressures that come with providing for the people he loves.
When I started Drift, he was often my saving grace. If something broke, he dropped everything to help. He taught me how to take things apart, put them back together, and gave me the confidence to believe that almost anything is fixable.
Watching him over the years inspired me to create this Father's Day package.
Because even the dads who seem strongest, who always show up, and who never ask for much in return deserve time to recover too.

I didn’t open Drift Float & Spa because I thought it would be a good business.
I opened it because float therapy changed my life.
Back in 2012, I was struggling with anxiety and PTSD symptoms. After just a few float sessions, something shifted. I felt calmer, clearer, and more at peace than I had in years.
In this video, I share both my personal experience and some of the clinical research exploring how float therapy may help reduce stress and anxiety.

Venus brings more than 10 years of experience in therapeutic bodywork, with specialties in Deep Tissue, Therapeutic Massage, and Geriatric Massage. Her approach is thoughtful, attentive, and deeply personalized, whether she’s helping relieve chronic tension, improve mobility, or simply create space for someone to finally exhale.
She’s also a mother of two, a lover of books, travel, and creativity, and someone who genuinely believes healing happens when people feel cared for as a whole person.
