Today is 10 years since I graduated hair school?? A whole decade??

On top of that, the beginning of this month marked 5 years self employed, 5 whole years of Renegade Salon Studio💛

If you’ve ever sat in my chair over the past 10 years (I know a lot of yall back home still follow me) thank you. I can’t even begin to describe how much this career has meant to me without getting super cheesy and emotional. This job has given me so many friends, so many experiences traveling for education, I’ve met and serviced the coolest people, and it’s helped me find myself as a person at the same time.

I’m so incredibly lucky to have the career and the business that I do, and I couldn’t do any of it without the people that surround me. It hasn’t been easy by any means, but I could not be more thankful💕

Super big thank you to everyone for being so understanding the past few months leading up to me being out for a bit, and then my extra sleepy return in July 😗 I’m finally feeling like a human again and back in the swing of things seeing everyone’s cute faces💕

I fear I only post at this point when I’m apologizing for not being active 😂 Life behind the chair right now is VERY busy for me leading up to my leave in June, and I appreciate every client for being so understanding when it came to reschedules and having to work around my time off. Life outside the salon has also been very hectic trying to get things done before I’m down and out for a bit, I’ll admit Im overwhelmed but yall have helped make work feel like the easy part right now💕

I’ll be opening my books back up likely next week to allow online bookings for end of July onward! All of my frequent fliers should have their spots secured for when I’m back by now, but I want to give it an extra couple days to make sure!

My girl is addicted to ghost roots👻🩷

It’s been almost 3 years since I first started doing this cutie patooties hair, and initially we opted to do ghost roots to grow out old box color. 3 years later - all the box black is gone, she was fully blue for such a long while, we said alright let’s run that back and do it again👀😂

Thankful for 2025🧡✨

Another transparent post from yours truly: 2025 was one of the most challenging years I’ve had in a long time. If you’ve sat in my chair this year, you know at the beginning of this year I made the decision to end my marriage, move homes, and move forward with opening a store front location simultaneously. On top of that I think I’ve been sick at least 6-7 times this year🙃

I know I haven’t been present on social media, and that’s okay! This was a year fully dedicated to personal growth for me both inside and outside of my career. Being able to come to work, clock out after, and focus on who I am as a person outside of my job was my #1 priority, and I am so thankful for every person who was a listening ear and supported me through this transitional time in my life🧡

While social media helped build my business to where it is now, it’s not the focal point for me right now. I’m still booked and busy (thank yall so much) and enjoying as much needed “me time” outside of work as I can. This year might’ve been one of the hardest, but it’s also been the most fulfilling. As always, thank you for the love and steady business, I adore yall so much. Cheers to what next year will bring🍾💕
